  • Designed full machine in SolidWorks
  • Drafted parts with GD&T and manufacturing tolerances
  • Performed stress, fatigue, and frequency simulations using SolidWorks Simulation
  • Designed pneumatic routing including actuators, solenoids, manifolds, fittings
  • Planned machining processes and surface finishes for cost reduction and part life improvement
  • Designed and fabricated frame fabrication fixture for welding and assembly alignment
  • Designed sheet metal enclosure using CNC & NC bending concepts

Custom ULTRAVIOLETTE X47 Charger Stand

I designed and manufactured a custom wall-mounted charger stand for my ULTRAVIOLETTE X47 to solve a daily cable management issue. The process involved measuring the charger, designing the component in CAD, preparing manufacturing drawings, and fabricating the final product through a vendor. This project reflects my practical approach to solving everyday engineering problems through design thinking.

Not all automotive components can simply be custom-designed and fitted directly onto vehicles. Many critical components undergo strict design validation processes including simulations, fatigue analysis, factor of safety calculations, material validation, and manufacturing feasibility studies before production.
